Scheduling Coordinator

The Scheduling Coordinator plays a pivotal role in coordinating flooring installation projects from start to finish. You’ll be the point person balancing customer needs, crew schedules, material deliveries, and installation timing. All to ensure smooth and successful execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and adjust installation schedules to meet project timelines and client expectations.
  • Crew Coordination: Assign crews based on skill, product requirements, and availability to maximize efficiency and quality.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main scheduling contact across sales, procurement, warehouse, installation teams, and clients.
  • Scheduling Software: Utilize our in-house scheduling software (RollMaster) to manage timelines and job progress. Training provided.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential conflicts or delays and proactively implement solutions.
  • Reporting: Generate regular updates on project progress, installer capacity, and job forecasting.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve scheduling workflows for greater efficiency.
  • Product Insight: Understand different flooring materials (e.g., carpet, LVT, wood, vinyl, tile) and match appropriate installers to each.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in scheduling, project coordination, or construction operations.
  • Experience with flooring, finish trades, or related sub-trades (preferred).
  • Comfortable working on a computer, including learning new systems and using scheduling or project management software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, personalities, and moving pieces.
  • Confident problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of plans, measurements, and material handling.
  • Knowledge of floor covering materials and installation processes (tile, LVT, wood, resilient, etc.).
  • G Licensed driver with vehicle and clean driving abstract

Sales and Estimating Professional

 

We're looking for an experienced Flooring Sales Professional / Estimator to join our team in Guelph, Ontario. If you have a strong background in B2B sales and construction estimating, we’d love to hear from you.


Qualifications:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Grow new business and manage existing accounts
  • Travel within Southwestern Ontario to assess and estimate projects (most within 20-50 minutes of our office)
  • Evaluate and optimize sales strategies to ensure client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with management to address challenges and improve results

What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (preferred)
  • 5+ years of construction estimating experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Proficiency in CRM, ERP, and G Suite
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to pass a background check (some projects require access to government/bonded sites)
